Hi,
This is to inform you that one of the JTDC agents Mr. Tarun Roy is a fraud and a cheat agent. We had planned to visit Netarhat on 23rd and 24th of December, 2014. We contacted Mr. Tarun Roy to help us book the Forest Department bungalow at Netarhat. He assured us that he will be able to book it and asked us to transfer INR 1200 to book the same (I have the copy of receipt for the same). On reaching Netarhat we were refused any accommodation as no room was booked in our name. He didn't answer our phone calls and decided to be oblivious to the entire fiasco. This caused huge inconvenience and a bitter experience. The locals there acknowledged too that he had done this to other tourists in the past as well and has tarnished JTDCs image on previous occasions as well. I would request you NOT to contact him for any booking purpose. It is very sad that few people like this extort money and the JTDC can do nothing about it.
